  9. Requirements:
  10.     An Amiga & AmiTCP 4.0 or above :)
  11.  
  12. Requirements for compiling:
  13.     Any UNIX (almost :)) machine
  14.     .. or Amiga with SASC & AmiTCP SDK
  15.  
  16. Compiling:
  17.     just type 'smake' ... that will do it :)
  18.     oh, yea, put the netinclude (AmiTCP SDK part) in include:netinclude,
  19.     or change scoptions
  20.  
  21. New in Amiga version:
  22.     -n option !!! -> Enter yr login on remote host, and passwd, to download
  23.     files from yr own account!

  26.     dl -h

  28. Btw, why should you use dl, instead, let's say, ncftp?
  29. Here's why:
  30.     ncftp is BIG, uses 300K of memory, this doesnt.
  31.     ncftp doesnt have 'REGET' possibility, this does.
  32.     well, that's about that :)
  33. dl shows it's best performance over very slow links, where connection gets
  34. timed out, and than dl reconnects by itself, and continues to download
  35. where it ended last time.
